Please read on for our cancellation policy as well as our membership terms.
Cancellation Policy
All sales are final. Classes booked with a membership or class package can be cancelled one-hour prior to the class starting, and the class will be credited.
For workshops, series and courses, cancellation requests received one week prior to the event will be converted into CYC money credits minus an admin fee (approximately 15%) which can be used for any product, class or event. All monthly auto-renew memberships can be cancelled by emailing info@californiayoga.com with a 14 day notice.
Membership Terms & Conditions
California Yoga Center Membership Agreement Effective January 1, 2026
This Membership Agreement outlines the terms of a monthly recurring membership with California Yoga Center (“the Studio”).
1. Monthly Membership Charges
Membership fees are charged automatically each month on the same date as your first payment.
Example: If your first payment is made on the 21st, you will be charged on the 21st of each subsequent month.
Term and Renewal: By enrolling, you agree to a month to month, auto-renewing membership that continues until canceled.
You may change to a different membership plan at any time without a fee.
Suspension for Non-Payment: If payment is declined, your membership will be suspended until the balance and a $25 reinstatement fee are paid.
Failed payments: Three reminder emails will be sent for failed payments. After the third reminder, a $25 fee will be charged. Please keep payment information current.
2. Class Usage
Your membership includes access to classes as described in your selected plan.
For limited memberships, unused class credits roll over to the next month. Credits are used on a FIFO basis (first in, first out). Credit rollover does not apply to unlimited memberships.
Unused classes expire at the time of membership cancellation or the end of the calendar year.
All memberships are non-transferable.
Members may purchase additional drop-in classes at a discount.
Members receive special pricing on workshops and series.
3. Cancellations
Memberships continue until canceled.
To cancel, email info@californiayoga.com at least 14 days before your desired cancellation date. You will receive a confirmation email once processed.
There are no refunds for payments once processed.
4. Membership Pauses
You may pause your membership by providing a 14 day written notice before the desired pause start date. The next billing cycle will be pro-rated based on the pause duration.
Pause Requests: Email info@californiayoga.com to request a pause. Once approved, the pause will begin on the requested start date.
Any classes taken while your membership is paused will be charged at the standard drop-in rate.. This policy applies to all pauses, including medical holds.
5. Agreement and Terms
By enrolling, you authorize the Studio to charge your payment method on file each month and agree to all terms outlined above.
Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Santa Clara County, California.
Force Majeure: The Studio is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to causes beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, or government restrictions (e.g., pandemic lockdowns).
Acknowledgment: By purchasing this membership, you confirm you have read and understood the terms, agree that all sales are final.
