Online Class Updates & Tips

ONLINE and Hybrid classes are live, and on the Zoom platform.
All class times are U.S. Pacific time.

  1. Class invites and recording emails are automated for online and hybrid weekly classes and most series & workshops.

    Register online. The time the email invite will arrive in your inbox may vary depending on when you sign up. Invites go out one hour before the class starts.

  2. Signing up at least 30 minutes before class time is encouraged.

    Early sign-up allows mail servers with slower response times to deliver the invite as well as time to resend invite if there’s a problem.

  3. Most emails for invites come from no-reply@apiant.com. Recordings are sent from no-reply@zoom.us. Please add these email addresses to your contacts to avoid them being sent to spam.
    For multi-day workshops, emails may come from info@californiayoga.com

  4. If you do not receive a link for class 30 minutes prior to class, please contact us at info@californiayoga.com for support.

 Setting up your at home practice space:

  1. Set up near a wall with clear space around you. Have your mat and props within easy reach.

  2. Improvise props if you don’t own them. Use a low stool for a block, beach towels for blankets, belts or elastic bands for cotton straps, a firm pillow for a bolster. A sturdy straight back chair or folding chair is handy too. If you do not have anything but a mat, no worries.

  3. If you live in or around Mountain View, CA, and want to buy some props, we have props available for purchase in the studio. Please stop by before or after class for assistance.

Classes are full of lightness and joy. The instructors happily greet and welcome each student. It’s been really nice, especially when the Zoom format could have been literally and figuratively be “flat!”
