The Art of Iyengar Yoga
Immersion Study Group
Come deepen your practice—beyond the mat.
This immersive program is for students ready to explore the deeper dimensions of yoga through asana, philosophy, teaching, and self-inquiry. Whether you're an experienced practitioner or simply curious to grow, you'll be supported in cultivating a practice that’s both grounded and expansive.
This 7-month series meets once a month from May through November, with a pause in July for rest and reflection. Whether you attend each session or drop in as your schedule allows, the series is designed to support growth over time.
What to Expect in Each Session
Each 3-hour session offers a structured yet exploratory format:
Rooting in Knowledge
Begin with a key yogic concept—whether a philosophical principle, teaching skill, or technique for deepening practice. We’ll also explore basic anatomy and physiology to support safe, sustainable practice.
Embodied Exploration
Practice a sequence of asanas that brings the theme to life, helping you experience its effects physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Interactive Learning
Those interested can practice teaching an asana to the group. This strengthens both your personal understanding and confidence.
Reflection & Integration
End with discussion, reflection, and Q&A on how to carry the insights off the mat and into your daily life.
2025 Study Dates
Deepen your practice. Expand your understanding. Live your yoga.
This unique program blends philosophy, asana, anatomy, and subtle practices like mantra and pranayama to support your growth both on and off the mat. Each session builds upon the last, creating a rich and transformative journey through the deeper teachings of Iyengar Yoga.
Whether you’re an experienced student or teacher-in-training, this program will support you in developing a consistent home practice, building confidence, and connecting yogic teachings to your daily life.
