The latest research shows the vagus nerve is essential for regulating the nervous system. We’ll explore what this means and how yoga can help.

Stress-related health concerns are at an all-time high. Understanding and working with the vagus nerve can support how you manage stress. This workshop introduces the role of the vagus nerve in regulating the nervous system and supporting relaxation, resilience, and emotional balance.

Practice includes yoga postures, mindfulness, and breathing techniques to balance vagal activity. You will learn to recognize transitions between nervous system states, activation (fight/flight), freeze (shutdown), and relaxation (rest/digest).

You will Learn
