Yoga for Better Sleep

  • In Person & Online at California Yoga Center 1776 Miramonte Avenue Mountain View, CA, 94040 United States (map)

Good sleep is the hub of healthy living. Few things can affect our day more than the quality of sleep. Join internationally recognized instructor Roger Cole, Ph.D. for this informative and invaluable workshop.

Sunday September 27th, 12:00-3:00 pm PDT

Roger will review the physiology and neuroscience of sleep, proper sleep hygiene habits and how to use yoga asana, breathing and meditative techniques to support your journey towards better sleep.

Roger is an accomplished scientist, educated at Stanford, as well as an Iyengar yoga instructor. His specialities are the science of relaxation, sleep and circadian rhythms. He has decades of experience leading both students and teachers in yoga asana and pranayama techniques to enhance the body’s ability to relax and restore itself. He has a warm and engaging manner that makes the science of these topics approachable.

This workshop is for:

  • Students interested in using yoga practice to promote better health

  • Those looking for ways to improve their sleep quality

  • Understanding the science and psychology of sleep and how it applies to yoga practice

  • Building confidence to practice mindfully

Join us for both workshops with Roger. Together the Inversions for Everybody and the Yoga for Better Sleep compliment each other and build a strong foundation for both your yoga practice and managing your overall health.
