Seeing & Refining with Marla Apt (Teacher Education)

  • In Person at California Yoga Center 1776 Miramonte Avenue Mountain View, CA, 94040 United States (map)

This immersive workshop is designed for yoga teachers and teachers in training who want to refine their ability to observe students clearly and give precise, intelligent hands-on adjustments.

Teaching is not only about giving instructions, it is also about learning how to see. Through observation, anatomical awareness, partner work, and guided hands-on practice, participants will learn to recognize imbalance, compensation, effort, and stability within a pose, and how to respond skillfully manually. Teachers will practice observing real bodies in real time, give and receive adjustments, and develop confidence through guided feedback and discussion.

This workshop is especially valuable for those who wish to deepen their observational skills, improve the clarity of their adjustments, and build confidence working directly with students in a more responsive and skillful way.
